An Inconvenient Truth

Former US vice-president Al Gore came to Cambridge today to give his talk “An Inconvenient Truth”. The talk was an updated version of his 2006 Oscar winning film regarding human contribution to climate change and the effects of not making changes in our behaviour now. The original film removed any doubt in my mind over the existence of, and man’s responsibility for, global warming yet he was more convincing in person. Al Gore is a surprisingly charismatic performer – a trait he seems to have developed since he left office.
