Every single day, a minimum of 5 top recruiters come to Cambridge, trying to attract graduate applications. They include the full range of employers from banks, consultancies and industry to government and non-profit. Today alone, Accenture, Bain & Company, Barclays Capital, Google.com and JP Morgan all came to run recruitment presentations.
Along with about 20 other MBAs, I went to hear Google.com present at the Cambridge Union. Their focus was mostly on graduate jobs, although the company representatives seemed to be very willing to talk about potential jobs for MBA grads too. Given their fast growth and reputation for career opportunity, I suspect a lot of my classmates will end up applying.
Tomorrow, Ocado.com is coming to town.
